Welcome to the Champion Construction Company website. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Information and Estimates Disclaimer
All content provided on this website, including pricing guides, blog posts, and "Ultimate Guides," is for informational and educational purposes only.
-
Non-Binding Nature: Any prices or "instant estimates" mentioned on this site do not constitute a binding legal offer or contract.
-
Variable Factors: Construction costs in the Coachella Valley are subject to significant fluctuation based on site-specific variables, including but not limited to:
-
Soil composition and stability.
-
Site accessibility for heavy equipment.
-
Current market costs for materials (e.g., concrete, rebar, block).
-
Local municipal permitting fees and zoning requirements.
-
2. Quotations vs. Estimates
-
Estimates: Any verbal or digital "estimate" provided prior to a physical site inspection is a preliminary approximation and is not guaranteed.
-
Firm Quotes: A "Firm Quote" or "Fixed-Price Bid" is only valid once provided in a formal, written contract signed by both parties after a thorough on-site evaluation.
-
Expiration: Unless otherwise stated in writing, all formal quotes and estimates expire 30 days from the date of issuance due to the volatility of material pricing.
3. Change Orders and Unforeseen Conditions
In accordance with California construction standards, any modifications to the original scope of work must be documented in a written Change Order.
-
Champion Construction Company is not responsible for unforeseen underground obstructions (e.g., large boulders, old utility lines, septic tanks) not disclosed or visible at the time of the initial bid.
-
Additional labor or equipment required to address these conditions will result in additional charges.
4. Licensing and Compliance
Champion Construction Company is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor in the State of California.
-
Permits: Unless explicitly stated in your written contract, the homeowner is responsible for all city or county permit fees. We will, however, handle the administrative process of pulling permits as requested in the contract.
-
HOA Approvals: Homeowners are responsible for securing necessary approvals from Homeowners Associations (HOAs) prior to the commencement of work.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Champion Construction Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of information on this website. Our liability for any project is strictly limited to the terms set forth in the individual, signed project contract.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from the use of this website shall be resolved in the courts of Riverside County, CA.
